Birthdays:
We love celebrating birthdays! If it is your child’s birthday, you are encouraged to send a pre-packaged treat for the class to share.

Daily Reading:
As part of our reading homework, we require nightly reading to be recorded on a Reading Log.

Dress:
Our county has updated our dress code to a school uniform policy, and all students at Lawton Chiles are required to follow the uniform policy this year.  Information regarding the uniform policy can be found by clicking here. 

Transportation:

If your child is going to leave school in a different manner than documented, please send a written note explaining the changes. This note should be sent to school in your child’s folder or his/her agenda. If I do not receive a note, your child will go home in his/her pre-determined method. This is a safety precaution, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please remind your child that it is his/her responsibility to show me any notes he/she brings to school.
